ALHAJA FATIMA MAHMUD OYEKAN: A LEGACY OF DEDICATION

Alhaja Fatima Mahmud Oyekan's life journey represents a legacy of dedication, commitment, and profound service to education, Islam, and humanity. Her headship of Crescent Schools marked a pivotal moment in the institution's history;starting the school in 1981 with two teachers in a six classroom temporary block with twenty seven pupils .


She retired early as an educationist to be an entrepreneur but not leaving educating totally. Soon after retirement she became a marriage therapist.She is a mother and grandmother, a 1:1 diet consultant to-date.


She is very passionate about continuing the legacy of her parent Sheikh Yunus Giwa & Alhaja Kafayah Giwa (one of the pioneer members of Muslim ladies circle) to the service of Allah.
